AWS Polly Plugin 1.0.0 Released

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Polly Speech Synthesis Plugin 1.0.0 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.

The plugin is based on the following components:

• UniMRCP Server 1.5.0
• AWS SDK 1.5.16

The binaries are currently available for the following Linux distributions:

• Red Hat / CentOS 7
• Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

The plugin allows IVR platforms to utilize AWS Polly Text to Speech API via UniMRCP server. The service is utilized via the AWS SDK for CPP.

The AWS Polly API provides a large variety of voices to choose from, having all the major languages supported.

Please note this is a commercial module. Everyone is welcome to start evaluation by requesting a trial license. Production licenses are priced at $30 per channel.
