Riva SR Plugin 1.3.0 Released

Riva Speech Recognition (SR) Plugin 1.3.0 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.

The plugin is based on the following components:

  • NVIDIA Riva Speech Skills 2.15.0
  • gRPC 1.30.3
  • Protobuf 3.12.2

The plugin is available for the following UMS versions:

  • 1.7.0
  • 1.8.0

The binaries are currently available for the following Linux distributions:

This release is built against the latest NVIDIA Riva Speech Skills 2.15.0. The release provides a few minor fixes and enhancements.

The detailed list of changes introduced in this release follows.

New Features
  • Added support for profanity-filter.
Fixed Problems
  • Fixed an issue which could possibly cause a license depletion when all the following conditions meet in the order specified.
    1. DTMF and speech grammars are activated.
    2. A gRPC request is initiated for speech first.
    3. DTMF input is started and the gRPC request is cancelled for speech.
    4. The RECOGNIZER request is stopped by the MRCP client before completion of the DTMF input.
  • Discard a negative confidence score returned by the engine.
Configuration Parameters
  • Added a new attribute 'profanity-filter' to the element 'streaming-recognition'.
Miscellaneous
  • Updated the NVIDIA Riva Speech Skills from 2.0.0 to 2.15.0.
  • Log word-level confidence score.
  • Updated the Usage Guide to reflect the changes introduced in this release.
