AWS Lex Plugin 2.7.1 Released

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lex Plugin 2.7.1 to the UniMRCP Server (UMS) has been released.

The plugin is based on the following components:

  • UniMRCP Server 1.7.0
  • AWS SDK 1.9.181
  • AWS Lex V2
  • Libevent 2.1.9
  • Libnghttp2 1.42.0

The plugin is available for the following UMS versions:

  • 1.7.0
  • 1.8.0

The binaries are currently available for the following Linux distributions:

  • Red Hat 8
    • unimrcp-lex-1.7.13-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
    • unimrcp-lex-1.8.8-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
  • Red Hat 9
    • unimrcp-lex-1.7.13-1.el9.x86_64.rpm
    • unimrcp-lex-1.8.8-1.el9.x86_64.rpm
  • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
    • unimrcp-lex_1.7.21-focal_amd64.deb

This release addresses two minor issues.

New Features
  • None.
Fixed Problems
  • If the request START-INPUT-TIMERS is received earlier than the HTTP stream is created, wait for the HTTP stream to be created first and then indicate playback completion to the Lex V2 API.
  • Maintain DialogActionType received in responses from the Lex V2 API and implicitly start a new conversation if the last DialogActionType is Close.
