Il bitter melon (Momordica Charantia) è un vegetale dal sapore amaro
usato in Cina (kugua), India (bhindi) e in tutta l’Asia sia come
pianta alimentare che come pianta medicinale, per le sue preziose
proprietà ipoglicemizzanti.

All’Università di Milano, Facoltà di Scienze Agrarie e Alimentari,
stiamo studiando il suo possibile uso in cucina e vogliamo sapere
quanto è conosciuto, come lo cucinate, se vi piace il suo sapore
amaro.

The bitter melon (Momordica Charantia) is a bitter food plant used in
China (kugua), India and all Asia both as a culinary and medicinal
plant, for its precious ipoglycaemic properties.

At the University of Milano, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Science,
we are studying its possible use in gastronomy and we are looking
information about its diffusion, gastronomic uses, taste appreciation.
