Dear list,

I know that this is a bit off-topic for this list, but nevertheless -
does anyone here have a clue how to modify the math style in Word in
such a way that formulas will be typeset using asana/xits/euler by
default?

I have just installed Office 2011 on Mac (but I guess that it looks
pretty much the same as any Word 2007, so it hardly makes any
difference).

I'm able to change the font for a single formula, but then the next
one will be typeset with Cambria Math. I can also change the "Normal"
style, but then I have no idea how to use, say, TeX Gyre Pagella and
then use Asana Math for the math ...

It's even possible to use any "text font" for some symbols inside math
(for the fonts that have no dedicated math tables), but I would have
no idea how to change that in style either.

Thanks,
Mojca

PS: no, I'm not going away from TeX world yet, even though I'm
impressed to see "kerning", "ligatures, discretional ligatures", "old
style numerals, aligning numerals, ...", support for creating boxes
for design elements on the page and many really nice templates for
certificates and so on. It looks almost as professional as Apple's
tools for creating documents. I thought MS didn't even want to go
there ...

Also, I read on Murray's blog that alt+= should enable writing
equations in PowerPoint, but I didn't figure out how that is supposed
to work either (it doesn't work here at least).
