Hey guys,

I am traveling back to India next week for about a month. My passport expires in May 2019. I don't want to risk renewing it in Bangalore. So I was thinking of doing it via the Indian consulate in Milan/Rome. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,
Prajval

Passport renewal is very fast in India. I rehewed my passport in Bangalore and got it back within week. So as soon as you land in Bangalore apply for renewal . You can take date now on passport seva kendra

Hi Prajval,
I renewed my passport a couple of weeks ago @ CGI Milan(1), and the entire process takes 7-10 days only. Firstly you need to fill the application(2) then, take an appointment (3) for application and other documents submission.

Regards,
Divya

Thanks Divya and Avinash!

I was a bit apprehensive about this, but I think I'll do it in Milan.
