Hello All and happy fourth (for the americans).

I have an issue on one side of my transom where the exterior pulls away from the boat when a swim platform is walked on. I was going to reinforce the interior so it doesn't wiggle as much.

The question is, does the transom have a wood, or foam core? Or is it layers of glass. This is for a 1978 38ft convertible.
