Looking at some surplus three axle trailers - curious if I can store my 36 on land in the winter and tow to local truck yard and pay $50 a month instead of $350 a month for wet storage.
Found some really nice three axle boat trailers at auction - they are 36' long trailers with 7500lbs axles - for a capacity of 15k plus - is that enough?

The specs for my 36DC say it has a loaded weight of 20K+ lbs. so I'd question the trailer capability.

Hey Todd perhaps look into a marine transport service, this way the haul is insured if any mishap and you won't have to store the trailer during boating season Mine is smaller at 32' and the cost is $10.00 per foot, still 600 + a year but that includes blocking the boat ( I have to supply materials) sometimes she comes home Which is free or close to our marina $500,for the winter.

My '72 36' aft cabin weighs in at 22,500 dry. Add another ton for liquids. Sedans were are a bit lighter, around 20,000. Mid 80's models were cored and thus lighter.
