Hey all ... if this thread passes the moderation stage, it will be my first here ... perhaps I can get some 42' DCS folks to chime in and offer me some guidance on the physical locations of the various 12VDC ground (negative) bussbars on my '79 model ... as yet, I can't think of having come across any cabin 12VDC ground bussbars ('NEGATIVE TERMINAL BLOCK' on Uniflite wiring schematics) other than two under the Port lower helm console assy. and then of course there are the battery cable terminations in the vicinity of my MAGNUM Model MS2812 inverter / charger (positives at an e.r. fwd-blkhd mounted 4-position rotary switch, negatives at an adjacent major ground bussbar) ... there are also some grounding points on a central connection board on the aft e.r. blkhd (Sure Power Model 2703 battery isolator also located here, blue-coloured unit at center):

... there must be other secondary (in cabin / salon areas?) 12VDC ground bussbars that can be accessed for servicing / cleaning, ect. ... some pointers from other 42' DCS owners would be invaluable ...

Thanks, Kevin Mc

Hey all ... I see there have been 26 views of this thread since I posted it on 18MAY19 ... hopefully somebody out there has been there, done that with a 42' DCS (and found that ... in terms of the 'NEGATIVE TERMINAL BLOCK' for DC EQUIPMENT in the Forward portion of the cabin) ...

Just thought I'd give this thread a bump ... thanks, Kevin Mc
