Where would we be now if they had been allowed to live. Their quest
was not just about the black race; it was about the human race. Can
we pick up the mantle and unify ourselves with dignity, respect,
honor, and humility the way that they did before their lives were
interrupted? Can we finish what they started? Are we willing to
finish what they started? Will we finish what they started? Our
lives are not just about us. It is about an unselfish love for our
fellow man as demonstrated by these two martyrs. Are we capable of
looking into the future and seeing hope in the unity of us all to
truly build a better America? Are we capable of showing our children
the love that they seek so that they will be the promise of a brighter
more efficient future? I am ready. Are you?
