SHODEX GARDEN
Please be informed that the UNIGEMGA Lagos Family Picnic has been scheduled as follows:
Date: 4th January 2015 Insha Allahu.
Venue: SHODEX GARDEN , ANTHONY ,
IKORODU ROAD,
ANTHONY BUS STOP, Lagos.
Gate Fee: N1000.00 Flat per person
Entertainment equipment available at the Centre are:
1) Tamboring,
2) Various board games (ludo, snakes & ladders, scrabble, chess, etc)
3) Swimming pool for children (remember to bring along your swimming kits with you)
4) Slides, Gezzibo sheds for relaxation
5) Football field for 5 A-Side
6) Swimming pool (remember to bring along your swimming kits with you)
7) Mini Children Petting Zoo
Kindly block the date especially for our children. Please there is need to:

Catch fun
Contact the organizers on what food and or snacks you may be bringing to the picnic to share with other members and their families. There would be lots to eat and drink and share at the picnic as usual. Organisational Relationships Reports to Manager, RAS
Job Description You will undertake both IT General Controls (ITGC) and business process reviews for our external audit clients. This requires developing an understanding of the risks facing the client and also what controls can mitigate those risks. As a result, you will develop a detailed knowledge of clients from an IT and business perspective.
In addition, you will also be involved in Technology Assurance. This involves the provision of a wide range of Technology Assurance services like information assurance, IT service management, controls over enterprise business systems, business continuity planning; and information governance
Skills Academic Qualification: Degree in related field with not less than Second Class Upper division.
Professional Qualification: CISA/CISM/CRISC/CEH/ACA (qualified or part-qualified); or similar certifications
Essential:
Business/accounting experience which may also include relevant qualifications (e.g. ACA).
Experience gained in an auditing and/or consulting environment.
Experience in auditing controls within a wide range of IT, finance, and business processes.
Experience of risk assessment/risk management/controls frameworks.
Ability to analyse and interpret findings and their root causes, form practical improvement recommendations, and clearly articulate these to clients in both written reports and oral presentation.
Good communication and relationship skills with colleagues and client staff of all backgrounds and levels.
Desirable:
Gained or be working towards a relevant business or accounting qualification (e.g. ACA).
Experience in external audit support work (e.g. understanding IT General Controls, Business Process Controls and how these integrate with an overall financial audit approach).
Experience in the ACL( Audit Command Language ) or similar tool
Some knowledge of the electronic payments industry in Nigeria
IT governance and/or delivery certifications e.g. ITIL, COBIT, etc

As-Salamun Alaykum,
We thank Allah for the outcome of the above program today. The program was made possible by Allah, our members financial contribution towards the arrangement, the providers of our corporate gift, members that brought all the various foods and drinks and the massive attendance by our members. A number of absentees also sent their apologies while others may have had other reasons not to have been able to attend - we pray Allah be with us all.
We thank our organisers that made it happen and all others that have supported the committee. May Allah ease for us all our tasks.
The following are some deliberations for our attention from the networking and discussion over the course of the picnic:
- Participation in the political process of the country especially the 2015 elections.
- Promotion of none interest banking account with the likes of Sterlin banks etc.
- The UNIFEMGA 2015 National Award program at Illorin on the 24th of January for members who have excelled in their professional calling over the last one year.
- Attendance of Association program, payment of annual dues (minimum NGN6,000/year)
- Individual Registration of UNIFEMGA Members on the website of the association
- 2015 economy and state of the nation: none payment of salaries in some states traced to federal government allocation, election and the likes We pray Allah makes easy for us the poor economic situation of the country
