Dear UNICASE users,

as announced earlier there will be a major maintenance activity at the
chair on Thursday Feburary 25th starting from 8 am. It consists of two
parts:

1. First it includes the LDAP server which is responsible for
authenticating many of the UNICASE user accounts. If you do not use a
chair account, you will not have any trouble if this LDAP server is
not available. Your account is an account on this server, if you can
also use it to login to the computers in the IT pool or to the chair´s
SVN and other services. While this LDAP server is down you will not be
able to log in to UNICASE if you have a chair account

2. Second we will take the opportunity and also do a hardware
maintenance on the UNICASE server. It will be down from 11:30 am for
about one hour.

Sorry for any inconvenience. We will announce the end of the
maintenance in both cases on this list.
