Hello,

I would need to know which network protocol the unicase client uses for talking to the unicase server because of firewall/proxy problems. In the documentation, it says that the server runs xml rpc and rmi in parallel, but I did not find any information on which protocol the client actually uses by default or how it can be configured. Please help me with this issue.

Kind regards

Hello Stephan,

The client makes an XML RPC call over https protocol.
Does this help?

Best regards,
Nitesh

Hi Nitesh,

thank you for your answer. This helps me indeed in working with the IT guys. One additional question is then, whether Unicase does support the use of a proxy server or can be made to do so.

Regards

Stephan

Hi Stephan,

You can try doing a global java setting at the system level for proxy, if it helps in your case.

Nitesh

Hi Nitesh,

I will try this path for passing this corporate proxy with unicase.

Thank you very much!

Stephan
