Brown Bag Lunch: Youth in NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) and the Future of Work in Pakistan

What: The International Labour Organization cordially invites you to a panel discussion to explore the situation of youth in NEET and the future of work in Pakistan.

FAO KP Farmers’ Market Marks World Pulses Day

Peshawar, Pakistan | 10 February 2026

 

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will organize the FAO KP Farmers’ Market to mark World Pulses Day, bringing together farmers, government representatives, private sector actors, and development partners to promote pulses and climate-smart agriculture.

The event will showcase FAO-supported agricultural value chains, including pulses and legumes, vegetables, edible oils, dairy products, and processed staples, while highlighting good agricultural practices, value addition, and market linkages. The Farmers’ Market aims to raise public awareness on the importance of pulses for soil health, climate resilience, and food and nutrition security, and to encourage dialogue between farmers and market actors.
