Hello Class,

There are a few things that are due, and here it goes....(PLEASE LET YOUR CLASSMATES KNOW THAT EVEN THOUGH THEY DONT GET MY EMAILS THAT THIS GROUP IS PUBLIC. ALL THEY NEED TO DO IS TYPE IN GOOGLE GROUPS ON A SEARCH ENGINE, CLICK ON GOOGLE GROUPS, AND TYPE IN EITHER UNIBE-MONDAY OR UNIBE-WEDNESDAY) 

1) Attached is an essay that is due on Migration. Please read ALL INSTRUCTIONS. It is due on Monday, March 4th (for  the Monday Class) and Wednesday, March 6th (for the Wednesday class) YOU MUST FOLLOW ALL GUIDELINES LISTED!!!

2) Homework for the next class (Monday section on 3/4 and Wednesday Section on 3/6 - NO CLASS ON 2/27 because of Independence Day) 

Read pages 61 - 70 in the book. The piece is entitled " The Melting Pot. Answer questions on page 70

3) Bring in 2 objects that you identify with (meaning with your culture) (MONDAY SECTION ON 2/25 AND WEDNESDAY SECTION ON 3/6) Example : it can be a favorite food or dessert (if you bring in something good, I will take it home for dinner LOL) , childhood object, etc. Be prepared to answer these questions :

1. What is your image/object
2. Why does it represent your culture to you?
3. What does this representation mean to you?
