Hey guys

The project I've been working hit another version. (This used to be linkap, but I renamed it to local.)

Release notes: https://gist.github.com/pfraze/5024177
Use-case in development: http://grimwire.com/

I'm not sure quite how we overlap; the interests are the same, at least. If anybody's interested in exploring cross-over, let me know.

Local.js was featured in this weeks HTML5 Weekly newsletter and I have
to admit it looks intriguing.

I'm going to have to spend some time reading through the docs and
playing with the examples; if I'm understanding correctly, Local
solves a long-standing problem that I've had and may prove to be a
good core for Atomic OS.

The central concept in Atomic OS is to be a self-contained desktop
OS-like environment - kernel, apps & data - in a single HTML document
(with "networking" via AJAX, websockets and/or webrtc).

Looking forward to some free time this weekend to play around a bit.

Checked out your project page; it does look like we are after similar goals. Send me an email sometime; I'd like to hear about ACD and WASH
