Hi UNH Energy Club leaders,

The New England Energy Exchange is quickly approaching!  Participation is free and includes a buffet dinner and an open bar (proper ID required).   We would love to have the UNH Energy club well represented at the Exchange, and have at least spots reserved for members of your club.  So far, no students have RSVP'd from your club.  Do you think there are 4+ energy club members that would be interested in attending?  If so, please extend this invitation to them. Participants can rsvp at:

I'm doing my best to get an accurate head count by this Friday, April 16th. If you have more than 4  people that would like to attend, please let me know and I would be happy to try and accommodate them.

Thanks,
Matt Smith

New England Energy Exchange:

Date:  Tuesday, April 27th

Time:  5:30 - 9:00 pm

Location: Stata Center on MIT's campus (32 Vassar St., Cambridge, MA).

Description:

The New  England Energy Exchange is designed to celebrate the accomplishments of energy clubs in the past year, while also fostering collaboration and connections for the forthcoming year.  We hope your club can use this event to build new relationships with other clubs as well as with local and regional energy companies, laying the groundwork for future collaborations between both clubs and companies. With this in mind, we would like to encourage that the invitations be extended to incoming  club leaders as well as current leaders.

Itinerary:

5:30 - 6:00 pm: Reception

Come enjoy complimentary drinks and hors d'oeuvres and mingle with energy club leaders and clean energy company representatives.

6:00 - 6:45 pm:  Energy club highlights

We ask that each club deliver a casual 5 minute presentation highlighting the club's activities over the past year. The presentation could be a review of a single successful project or  an overview of several activities that your club sponsored. A projector will be available for power point slides or referencing your club's website.

7:00 pm - 7:45 pm : Dinner & Discussion, round 1

Participants will sit in groups centered on discussion topics while they enjoy a free buffet dinner. We will follow up with participants about their areas of interest  following their RSVP.

7:45 pm - 8:30 pm:  Dessert & Discussion, round 2

Participants change seats and a second round of topical discussion will take place over dessert.
