WELCOME BACK!
We hope everyone had an excellent summer and has had a great start to the academic year!  The UNH Energy Club is looking forward to an exciting year, even though we have lost our dear friend Jake Aho to the PHD program over at University of Colorado at Boulder.  We are going to continue our mission of educating students and the UNH community on all forms of energy from a holistic viewpoint.  This year we want to take more field trips, bring in more professionals for academic seminars, and stay up-to-date on everything happening here at UNH in terms of Energy.  We hope everyone is as excited as we are about this new year!  It is going to be a blast!

Energy Club Committee Meeting

Continuing our success from last semester, the UNH Energy Club is being run by a club Committee.  We are a small group of students who all share the same passion about energy.  We hold our meetings at common exam time 12:40-2pm in MUB 334 every other Tuesday.  Our next meeting will be held on OCTOBER 5, 2010.  The meeting is open to everybody, you don’t have to be a member! Anyone who would like to get more involved other than just coming to our events is welcome to join.  By attending, you will learn about the inner workings of the Club, meet some great people, and get the inside scoop about whats happening before everybody else.  Not to mention if you want to become a permanent part of our team, its a great thing to put on your resume! Also, the more people we have on the committee, the more events we can put together.  So come on, stop by!

Upcoming Events

"The Big Energy Gamble" - A NOVA Presentation

We encourage everybody to attend and bring your friends.  This Event is free and open to the Public!

Energy Technology Profile -- Coming Soon
Each newsletter we will pick a different energy technology and write a little blurb about it.  Hopefully, we will be able to teach you something new!

About the  UNH Energy Club
The UNH Energy Club is a group of students interested in learning more about energy. Students from all disciplines are welcome to join the club. We educate ourselves and the community on energy from a holistic viewpoint, learning about generating, transporting, storing and consuming energy from a technical, legal, and social point of view. This education will come from networking with professionals, embarking on educational trips, supporting energy related projects across campus and doing some educating ourselves.

You can learn more about us from our Website (www.unhenergyclub.com). However, please do not get confused; the meeting time listed is NOT correct.  We are in the process of updating the website.  Thank you.
