Greetings,

The second year of the UNH Energy Club is coming to a close!  The energy networking event was a success, lots of great conversations and much was learned.  Thanks for all who attended and participated, and thanks to the UNH Energy Club Executive Committee for putting together the event.  

Students:  Would you like to be more active in the UNH Energy Club?  Want to make things happen, make good connections and learn more about energy?  We have an energetic group of members at our core as the executive committee. Come join us Tuesday, May 4th at 12:40 in MUB 207 to discuss the future of the club.  Snacks will be provided.  

The last meeting of the year will be a joint meeting with the Executive Committee and the Advisory Committee on Tuesday, May 11th at 12:40 in MUB 207.  

Advisory Committee:  Are you a professional, faculty or staff interested in guiding the UNH Energy Club?  Next year we will be having meetings once a month with our advisors.  We look to use these meetings to inform the advisors of the club's status, gather ideas for events, and hold the club accountable for action items.  If you are interested please reply stating that you are interested in being on our advisory committee and we will add you to our mailing list.  We plan to have a year end Advisory Committee/Executive Committee Meeting to set the stage for next year.  This meeting will be Tuesday, May 11th at 12:40 in MUB 207.

A Personal Note:

Sadly, this will be the last email I send out to the entire UNH Energy Club Mailing list, as I am graduating from UNH and heading to CU Boulder to research wind turbine control systems.  It has been a fun journey over the past 2 years since Brian Giardina and I started the UNH Energy Club.  I have learned a lot about energy, running an organization and made many great connections.  I thank many of you for your support and interest in the UNH Energy Club.  I am hopeful for the club's future, as we have a great team of executives, I hope you will join them or support them in the running of the club.
