Make use of CSS, JavaScript. Perl, XHTML, XML, and other technologies, including Unix skills to efficiently develop, enhance and support sites for each assigned publisher. XSLT experience desirable, but not required. Accurate testing and documentation will be required. Communicate orally and in writing with publication managers and team members. Attention to detail required. Ability to multi-task required. Support a standards-based, next generation front-end platform, supporting online publication of scholarly journals - over 1500 sites and 300 publishers. Skills Required: - Must have a deep love of clean, well-structured XHTML markup, pretty cross-browser CSS, well organized, unobtrusive JavaScript. - Must have the ability to create full designs from specs ranging from ready-to-implement markup and CSS to Photoshop files. - Knowledge of JQuery or other JavaScript framework - Familiarity with website frameworks such as Word Press, Drupal, Django and a concept of templates The ideal candidate must have good troubleshooting skills, good communication skills, the ability to multitask.
