Subject: Re: most recent copy of full PIF
Hi Jean, Marge. Here is the PIF version after the re-aligning the log frame with the first 3 Aichi Targets and the exchanges of emails. Please note:1., the template is not word so, any major changes require changes to the spacing etc. of the whole form.2. it the economist who are saying that there is a limit to what know-how in valuation that we can transfer....it is important that we do not commit ourselves to what we can not deliver.3. the fine-tuning of the meaning of biodiversity valuation to mean "valuation of the ecosystem goods and services" came from economists (as I remember), the only reason, I included both terms in the draft log frame is so that the group is clear on what we mean by biodiversity valuation (which is still the operational word we use with a definition when first mentioned in the PIF).4. I tried to incorporate everything that was in the original PIF before JD comments while dropping the "objective" in every component as it is the same as Outcome to UNDP5. spoke with NBSAP group on alignment etc..Please read this version carefully and keep in mind that we are looking for the right wording to express what positive changes in biodiversity conservation we will see as a result of this project and how we will accomplish these changes.Thanks,George.On Fri, Jul 12, 2013 at 7:20 AM, Mary Jean A. And which we in turn will confirm with Anabelle and Cristi to complete the loop. As you may know, we, each one of us attending for Haribon, joined the project development exercise for this proposal at different stages and therefore should need to level off regarding this proposal.

Hi Jean,
I have already submitted the revised PIF to JD and we will be discussing our comments when he arrives next week in Cebu. He won’t be able to meet-up with your group since he will no longer fly to Manila from Cebu.
Thanks,
