Subject: NBSAP Capacity building webinars: Important Information

Dear Colleagues,

 

By way of introduction, my name is Nadine Bowles-Newark and I am the ‘Organiser’ for the upcoming NBSAP Capacity Building Webinars that are due to take place on Wednesday 5^th and Friday 7^th June 2013. My role is to help with the registration process, control the flow of information during the event and ensure that the Webinar runs smoothly.

 

You will shortly receive a meeting invitation for one, or both, of the following Webinars:

 

Webinar 1: The NBSAP process and biophysical approaches

Wednesday 5^th June 2013, 14:00-16:00 (UK time)

 

Webinar 2: Economic Approaches

Friday 7^th June 2013, 10:00-12:00 (UK time)

 

Attached is a document detailing the equivalent times around the world for your clarification.

 

In order to participate via a computer, you will need to download a very small piece of software called “GoToWebinar”. This is a straightforward process that you will be guided through when joining the Webinar. It may be best, however, to join the event a few minutes early in anticipation of this, especially if using a slower internet connection. Please find attached a quick reference guide that will hopefully answer any technical questions you may have.

 

This is a very popular series of Webinars and we would like to be able to easily identify individuals if required during the presentations and question/answer sessions. Therefore when signing in to the webinar, please use your NAME with the COUNTRY or ORGANISATION you will be representing in brackets e.g. Nadine Bowles-Newark (UNEP-WCMC).
