Good Afternoon Grace and Jean,

Here is the version of the PIF with inputs taken from meetings with DILG, NEDA, NSCB, DBM, COA. NewCapp and BPP. I left the additions in red. Please check for accuracy. 

Please note that the real question posed to us by JD was how to ensure after we have done data gathering and we have on hand biodiversity and ecosystem values from the project sites, that the data/information/knowledge generated can help conserve biodiversity and generate wealth from the same biodiversity conservation activities...I don't think we came up with answers but I believe we got a lot more essential details in how classical accounting, budgeting works (without biodiversity valuation) and state of LGU governance (or the mindset) from practitioners on the ground (at the national level) that we at least have a clue what needs to be changed. To me all these inputs help us refine our methodologies or approaches to ensure successful implementation towards using biodiversity to finance biodiversity conservation and biodiversity conservation to generate wealth. I think we will get a better resolution of the picture only when we start the project.

The Highlights of the meeting on the 25th are also included. Jean, please convert into the correct format as required..

Thanks for this. I will go over this later today. 

May I also request those who attended the meeting to provide their comments/ okay by Monday. Ma'am Ann, you said you were going to send something. I hope we can get your comments before you become too busy with your event this week.

If I do not hear from any of you by midnight of Monday, I will interpret that to mean concurrence and officially endorse the revised PIF to UNDP onTuesday. (BTW Grace, do we need to endorse this officially or will an email from the proposal team suffice)?

Our target is the June GEF Council Meeting so we need to submit this ASAP.
