Economist Professor Bill
Mitchell also constructed a recent blog post in which he provided a
scholarly refutation of Thomas Palley's
highly selective (and in some respects nonsensical) paper: http://bilbo.economicoutlook.net/blog/?p=22701

Bill Mitchell is also an
Australian. Steve Keen is a friend of mine, and I am well aware of his
groundbreaking research in the
dynamic modeling of economic systems from a postKeynesian perspective,
making use of financial circuit theory and the
insights provided by Hyam Minsky. John.
