Harald Welte, Linux Netfilter's co-author in Brno!

Hi guys,
I've been planning to go to this lecture for ages and forgot to let my
fellow hackers know.

Harald will talk about the famous Osmocom open-source project (or rather
a set of projects). I think he's going to touch the topic of software
radios too (the topic of my thesis).

Harald is being hosted by my home Faculty (of Electrical Engineering and
Communication, Brno University of Technology) and my home Department (of
Telecommunications).

The event will take place at:

DATE: February 22nd (this Wednesday)
TIME: 13:00

There's no formal digital invite, just papers on doors all over the
building, I'll send one if I get one as well as further updates.

Let me know if you are interested.
Also I'm thinking of inviting Harald over to Base48 sometime after the
lecture or near the evening.

I think XanthiX and Trendy might want to join, but they're likely to be
busy during the lecture..

Anyway, anyone interested in this, please contact me as I'll stay in
touch with Harald even after the lecture.
He's also contributed to the netfilter/iptables firewall in GNU/Linux,
most of us use it daily.

As you said it sounds tempting and I'd rather be attending it than being
at work. But you have to bring home the bacon somehow.
Anyway if they upload any presentation or video of the lecture on the
internet (and they speak english) I'd appreciate it if you shared the link.
We'll talk ve ctvrtek at hackerspace!
