Dear all members & well wishers,

 

We would like to invite you to join us in the annual celebration of Marino Social Work Club on 17^th of July 2010 at DD Retreat Club, Thamanam at 5 ‘O’ clock. The launching of two main social projects of MSWC “Plant 10,000 trees & Blood donation drive of 25000 people” will take place on this occasion.

 

Members & guests will have the opportunity spend quality time with our special guests include children & elderly people from Saanthanam  Bharathiya Charitable Society .

 

Social Work is the professional activity of helping individuals, groups or communities to enhance or restore their capacity for social functioning also by creating societal conditions favorable to this goal. Social Work practice consists of the professional application of Social Work values, principles and techniques to establish more of the following ends:

                                                        

• Helping people obtain tangible services
• Counseling
• Psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups
• Communities or groups provide or improve processes 

 

MSWCs official Inauguration was on July 3rd 2009 at the Central Park Hotel, Cochin,India

MSWC intends to change the social conditions of our community, especially of the disadvantaged by providing psychological counseling, guidance, assistance, especially in the form of Social Services.

We are committed to inspiring participation and awareness by the preservation of our fragile ecosystems by providing opportunities for personal direct action to save the diversity of life on planet Earth.
