The East Asian Resources (EAR) department at Davis Library will hold 3 workshops this spring on Chinese e-resources available through the library.

All sessions are open to all who interested in such resources.

UNC library’s Chinese e-resources include journal databases such as CNKI's China Academic Journals, Airiti's Taiwan Periodical Journal database, dissertation and thesis databases, pre-modern texts like 四庫全書, art materials including  故宮典藏圖像資料, as well as  statistics and e-books from China and Taiwan.  These workshops will focus on basic access to the journal databases and e-books.

UNC affiliates (those with One Card and Onyen) can access these resources on and off campus 24/7. Un-affiliated users have to be physically present in the library  to access these contents. UNC users can also download Chinese e0books (電子書) to personal mobile devices.

Please feel free to forward this to all interested parties as appropriate.
