With
the knowledge that we will live longer than those before us, comes the
quest to live better than those before us. Will we be in a wheel chair
with scarce recollection of our past? Or will we be walking, talking,
energetic and happy? These are possible
questions that haunt us as Doctors when we look at the quality of life
most of our aging patients have.
Dear Colleagues in the Medical Profession,
Is anti-aging medicine for
us doctors practicing Modern Medicine?
At the age of 45-50, you
have the rest and the best of your life in front of you and yet you are
afflicted with Hypertension or IHD or Diabetes. How do you want to
live these years? Lets look at the basis of our current medical
standard of treatment. For high blood pressure, you take pills. If you
have a heart attack, you get a stenting or a CABG. If you have cancer,
you get surgery and/or chemotherapy. But once the CABG is complete and
once the cancer is removed, you are still left with the underlying
imbalances that allowed the plaque or the cancer to develop in the
first place.
Given the choice; would you
not choose to restore optimal function and prevent recurrences in the
future? Would you not choose to live walking, talking, strong and
energetic rather than in a wheel chair, not knowing your name? If so,
you are on a quest for information to help restore balance and optimize
your quality of life.
At MEDICOIN over 20
international and Indian faculty will present evidence based
papers and concepts that will help you understand how you can take
better care of yourself and thus your patients. At MEDICOIN there is no
new medicine it is just putting together what we have learned and
forgotten, it is giving you new insights on how our body works and how
by tweaking a little of what you currently do you can get better
outcomes. At MEDICOIN this need of the hour in health care will be
addressed in detail.
Counting on your
enthusiasm and enriching presence from 22nd to 24th March,
Best regards,
Dr
