Hello
everyone.
I just wanted to
announce an upcoming meeting that I'm sure you'll be interested
in. The city of Ouray and some other economic interests in your community
have given us the opportunity to bring a discussion and presentation about
the economics of the Alpine Triangle to the citizens and businesses of
Ouray. This meeting will focus completely on the economics
of tourism, recreation, mining, industry and agriculture, and the
role public land and the Alpine Triangle play in the economics of our region of
Colorado.
What: Ouray
Business Round Table
When: Wednesday May 18th, 2011 at
8:00 am
Where: The Ouray Community Center.
We encourage
everyone to attend. This will be a great opportunity to
learn more about the effort to protect one of our most important economic
assets, the Alpine Triangle. Many of you have attended a presentation in
the past and at that time, we primarily talked about the idea in
general. Now it's time to talk more specifically about one piece of
this puzzle, the economics. Furthermore, this is a great opportunity
for you to show your support for the protection discussion with those
in your community who are decision makers, elected officials or who rely on
our public lands and tourism for their businesses and way of life.
Your input, thoughts
and ideas are welcome.
Feel free to shoot
me an email or phone call if you have questions.
I hope to see you
there next week.
Best,
