Dear Sir,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in GNUnify – An International Conference on Free/Open
Source   Software  (FOSS)   organised   by  SICSR(Symbiosis   Institute   Of   Computer   Studies   and
Research) and PLUG(Pune Linux Users' Group).

It aims at providing a platform for the exchange of ideas and knowledge among the academia, students
and the industry professionals. With the increased inclusion of FOSS technologies in curriculum,we
have introduced two new areas specifically focused for the educators: Scientific Computing and FOSS
in Education. This event is being conducted for the 9th consecutive year with high success levels.

This event will not only help students to get acquainted to the Open-Source world, but also help teachers and
faculty members to grow their knowledge and help students to do so.

These tracks will feature a series of lectures, demonstrations and hand­s-on workshops over two days on
11th and 12th February 2011. (Details overleaf)
