Welcome to the Uncertainty Club

Dedicated to the dissemination and discussion of the pertinent problems, methods, and findings furthering our understanding of Uncertainty.

The basic goal is to host a common platform for experimentalists, theorists, machine learners and those employing other techniques, all interested in studying/learning about uncertainty. We hope this will provide a unique opportunity to discuss the pertinent problems, speak a similar language and spark off fruitful collaborations.

Following is the initial, basic structure of the Uncertainty Club:

--Once in a month meeting:

Fridays 12:30 pm.

4th Floor Seminar Room, Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit, Alexandra House, 17 Queen Square, London, WC1N 3AR

- 30 min Brown bag lunch.

- 30-40 min Research talk, including high-level introduction for people who don't know the field.

- 20 min Speaker poses a question for discussion, mostly pitched at alternate discipline/technique (i.e. theorist asking experimentalists about how to test their theory; or experimentalist asking about how to understand their question from a theoretical perspective).
