“实践”并非只涉及新媒体艺术创作，也同时涵盖了针对策划，制作，市场和收藏等所有在这个领域进行的职业与活动的探讨。
作为欧洲第一个涉足新媒体艺术研究的国家之一，法国在各种跨领域实验计划蓬勃发展了数十年之后，最近逐渐走入了低潮，甚至停滞不前。法国新媒体艺术的走向大致代表了多数西方国家在同一领域的发展路线。
配合将于09年9月5日在北京当代唐人艺术中心开幕的旅法媒体艺术家杜震君个展，第四届“不确定未来，新媒体艺术与游戏”邀请了包括艺术家在内的三位来自法国的主讲人，与我们分享他们在各个领域的不同工作经验。希望他们对各种主题的剖析可以为中国的同行和大众提供有效的建议，并在双方的深度交流下，为新媒体艺术领域目前尚未解决的问题找到可能的答案。
"Practice" does not only involve the topic of creation in New Media Art, but also includes activities and professions such as curatorial, production, marketing and collection in the field.
As one of the first European countries to enter into the New Media Art research area, France, after a decades long meteoric rise in cross-disciplinary experimental projects, recently started encountering difficulties on further achievements. The path that France has followed is quite representative of all other Western countries researching in the same field.
In collaboration with France-based artist Zhenjun Du's solo exhibition at the Tang Contemporary Art on Sept. 5th (Sat.), three guest lecturers from France will attend our 4th edition "Uncertain Future" forum on Sept. 6th (Sun.), share their experience working in different fields. We hope that their analysis of varied subjects in New Media Art will provide useful suggestions for their Chinese colleagues, and that their exchange will contribute to the resolution of those yet unresolved problems in this dynamic research field.

不确定未来，新媒体艺术与游戏
“不确定未来，新媒体艺术·游戏”是一个艺术教育项目，是以研究新媒体艺术在中国的发展为目的而展开的一系列讨论。
新媒体艺术在90年代随中国艺术家将DV技术融入自己的创作而进入中国，它在中国的发展与其在西方所走过的历程并非完全相符。这个项目意在呈现它作为“舶来艺术”进入中国后的发展状态，和预测它在未来对中国的社会结构，文化发展甚至人的思维方式将产生的影响与改变。
项 目从2009年4月至12月以每月论坛的形式开展。每期论坛的主持者来自社会各个领域如当代艺术，音乐，舞蹈，电影，建筑，工程，科学。策划者希望这个项 目能成为每一个参与者对一切具可能性的跨界学科与项目的自由实验地，让新媒体艺术不确定的未来在这里有一个清晰的开始 。
Uncertain Future, about New Media Art & Games
“Uncertain Future, about New Media Art Games” is an educational art project, based on a series of forums, which takes the development of new media art in China as its research target.
New Media Art in China started when Chinese artists incorporated DV technology into their works. The discipline took a different evolutionary track from that in the west. The project tries to present the current research on the discipline and its development since it was introduced as an “imported art” in China. The guest speakers will share their insight as to New Media Art’s future advancement and influence on Chinese society, culture, and lifestyle.
The project encompasses monthly lectures to be held between April 2009 and December 2009. Each lecture will be presented by guest lecturers coming from different fields such as contemporary art, music, dance, architecture, engineering and science. The project is envisioned as an experimental field where the audience’s exposure to the lecturers will enable them to further their own inquiry into the uncertain future of new media art.
