First Meeting

Hey everyone,

Thank you to everyone for expressing interest in the Carolina Cycling Club! It was great getting to meet all of you at Fall Fest and the Sport Club fair. We will be having our first club meeting next week, so please attend if you can. Here are a few important notes about the meeting next week:

1. Meeting is Thursday, August 29 in FPG Student Union Room 3411 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm

2. Go to Facebook and (1) request to be part of the 'UNC Cycling' group (this is different than the public UNC Cycling Club) - we post information about group rides and meeting info AND (2) 'like' the UNC Cycling Club page if you haven't already

3. We will discuss the cost of dues and give you general information about our club

If you cannot attend the meeting, we will send out the power point slides and notes from the meeting to everyone on this list. 

We have had lots of questions regarding how competitive this group is. Our number one goal as a club is to have fun riding bikes! Most of our members just ride on casual group rides and do various charity rides around the area. Even if you are a beginner, you are not alone! Come join us on Thursday, August 29 at 5:00 pm and bring any questions you have!
