Fellow Ugandans,

With such maneuvers there is little wonder Africa is loosing the battle to manage its own natural resources. Africans are tired of being hood winked by some clever Presidents and foreign investors- who are clearly not willing to work within the confines of the law while doing business on the continent. If Tullow oil, is now sleekly sneaking past the Ugandan parliament, a structure that wants to have clear guidelines on rates and other corporate safety and guidance structures- how could anyone expect it to follow any safety guidelines that will seize to make oil a curse in Uganda? Is this really a reputable Oil Company ?
Ugandans in Europe could bring a case against the business practices of Tullow oil, to force it to work within the confines of the Ugandan parliament.
I marvel at the genius of Tullow Oil, in their decision to bypasses the parliamentary process,  their quick rushed agreement may not be worthy of anything  when the only man who signed off on the deal with them is ousted or dies.
