Abantu benno nga nabbo bakowu kowu - folks here are also tired of the same -even NRM stalwarts, last I checked. There is no doubt that if you have been in America for any length of time -you begin to appreciate the way their system retires their Presidents.

The wheels of democracy may be a bit sticky and trying at times -especially with the gridlock between Republicans and Democrats -but in the end they figure out their differences,stuff gets done and they have great opportunities for political ascendancy.

To rant out such an encompassing statement, is to be totally misguided and unaware of the Diaspora mainstream. What methodology did he use to come to such a conclusion; that "all NRM Diasporans are in full support of a continuation of this Presidency in perpetuity".

 Such unchecked support would be in total abandonment of some very simple democratic principles within the Party and held as an ideal among ordinary Ugandans -who have waited for so long to see a peaceful transition of power in Uganda- that many in the Diaspora  think we have paid heavily in losses and are quite serious and with great expectations that President Museveni will NOT this time, dash their hopes and run for yet another term, should be no secret even to this.

Any person worthy to lead others in the Diaspora ought to know, that folks are out here, because things were not that good at home and are seriously seeking to see positive change taking effect, starting with the Presidential term limits,among other things that seem to have gone in reverse!

I would say it is an irresponsible statement uttered by an individual representing a huge Diaspora group, maybe he was seeking political favor from the President, using perhaps the statistics from his household alone. President Idi Amin used to call them confusing agents.

Forumists, Haji ABbey Walusimbi is potential minister in next government compared to his MP who also doubles as Works Minister. Walusimbi invest in NRM other than reaping from it. He has no corruption scandals. He is personally loyal to the President and does not play double standards.
