Hey everyone,
This is just a reminder of the upcoming community forum regarding the CSX railroad company leaving hazardous chemicals in residential areas. Please come if you would like to get involved and learn more about this issue.
I passed a sign up sheet to organize a carpool to the library so if you're interested in going send me an email back if you can go and if you have a car you're willing to use. Also, for those who have or are going to volunteer to drive let me know how many people you can fit in your car. Thanks!
-Natalie

     Not in our Neighborhoods:
The Hazards Posed by Toxic Chemicals on the Tracks

Wednesday, September 8
6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Salem Church Library

Presentation by Dr. Fred Millar, specialist in railroad and hazmat transportation, storage, and safety.
Come learn about the dangers posed to our community by storing toxic chemicals in residential areas, find out what steps are next to get the railcars moved, and take action to make sure that no one cuts corners when it comes to preventing a disaster.  Our safety is more important than CSX’s convenience.
This forum is free and open to the public.
