Friends,

I sent this to you because mutual friends suggested your name or your
organization, or you are of such bad-ass quality that we thought you
might heed our call.

As organizers, activists, and conscious human beings, we are all acutely
aware of the need to fight back at this particular moment in time.
Climate change and capitalism are serious threats to the survival of our
ecosystem and all species, including ourselves.

Debt and austerity are forcing millions into poverty as the war machine
rages onwards, conducting its murderous rampages with our stolen labor.
The capitalist media constantly lies, and we know it. The police are an
occupying army in our communities.

The only way we can make any progress and reverse these trends is to
work together.

From September 29 through October 5th, 2014, the Ché Cafe is hosting a
convergence to do exactly that, bring people together. As some of you
may know, the Ché Cafe is in the middle of its own struggle for
survival, and we need your help.

But this isn't just about the Ché, it's about all of us. We are
proposing a week long convergence called Survival: It's On! that will
bring people together for workshops, talks, skill sharing, music and
much more.

And we want you to attend.

No, we need you to attend. We need solidarity to be the fundamental
movement building principle across the world. Without it, we will lose.
And we believe that not only can we win, but that we will win.

We have set up the initial structure for the event with proposed daily
themes, and we are asking you and your organization to immediately
discuss your participation. Our themes should be considered guidelines,
so based upon the submissions we get, the daily themes could easily
change, and we will adjust accordingly.

We have forms ready to take volunteers, and we have forms ready to hear
your proposals for workshops and presentations. Please go here and start
