Hey All,

For the third year in a row, the International Labor Rights Forum (where I have been interning for the past 5 months) is holding its annual Mother’s Day Raffle! The raffle prizes are two baskets of Fair Trade Certified chocolates from either Equal Exchange or Sweet Earth Chocolates.

If you donate of $30 or $60, ILRF will send a Mother’s Day card and a chocolate bar from Equal Exchange to your mom or any other special person in your life (I've seen the cards and they are cute (-: ) This is a great opportunity to be an ethical consumer while supporting flower workers, many of them mothers themselves.

You can enter the raffle HERE!!!

If you want to learn more about the ILRF's Fairness in Flowers campaign you can click here.

This is about using our purchasing power to better the lives of workers around the world.  It is possible to celebrate mother's day without buying into our consumer culture and without supporting companies that abuse their workers!  Good luck with finals and Happy Mother's day to you and yours!
