No Meeting Tonight

Hey everyone, since we're all very busy, other events happening tonight, and not a lot that needs to be discussed, we will not be having SDS tonight at nine.

Because of that, here's a couple reminders on things coming up.

 

Vegan Cooking Night will be in Mason again, same time, same place, unless anyone has a problem or concern.

 

The Free Store will be on Sunday from 1-3pm in Hurkamp Park.

So that's Sunday at 5:00, I believe, for vegan cooking. Also I'm planning on heading down to the farmer's market Saturday morning -- not sure what time, but text/call/email/facebook me if you want to join -- 703-927-9289.

 Hey everyone!!

So in lieu of us not having a meeting tonight ( i was actually able to come!! ) I wanted to still share something I came across. This guy Rik Scarce is coming april 16th and 17th as the keynote speaker for "respectable activism or dangerous fringe? an interdisciplinary conference on radical environmental activism". i think this sounds really awesome, and I know there is a lot going on this weekend but this sounds great!!!

It is in trinkle room 204. basically i think it's a bunch of speakers from all over the world that then are followed by discussions. if anyone has any questions or want to see the actual flyer, there is one flyer on the historic pres bulletin board in combs hall lobby and one on the hist pres department door. you can also call or find me,
