It aint over until the fat lady sings...but why oh why did Fegie substitute Nani and not Rooney when he did??? Yes FOR Giggs,Scholes and Neville there are sentimental games but there is no room for sentiment when you need to win....the score is 2-2 unless Bayern score first...

I knew this was going to have more of a soothing effect on a lot of china’s than the mightiest spliff would ever have. We hold our hands up and say we were scorched.

The first was a ferocious left surrounded by three yes three defenders, the second was a deft touch with the right foot, the third oh what a cheeky lob with his left over Almunia and then at the second bite of the cherry the fourth was a grass cutter through the keeper’s legs. No point fighting with the Germans if that’s the prize – I don’t see an English team in the semis.

My dearest brother Chiti,

Ryan Giggs has been a mate of mine since 1996 when I studied in the Greater City of Manchester ofcourse he was a youngman at the time still full of running and a wicked left footed cross that mesmerised the likes of Tony Adams, Lee Dixon,Nigel Winterburn and Steve Bould.

In light of our game against Barca I called him to ask what he thought he said whenever Manu have gotten to the final no one sees us as favourites to lift the trophy so it was against Byern Munich, Chelsea and Barca no one thought we could do it but out of the three we only lost once.

He sees a tough game but tells me the team has never been more focused and further Barca will face a squad such as they have never faced before. Besides he says Ferguson responds better when you inflict a wound, ask anyone when he is up for a challenge he makes team selections that deliver. Who can argue with 19 league titles and two European Championships.

As he was rushing for training I asked whether it would help if in the coming season Manu switched to 'movement pace and technique' type of football and his candid answer is that such a switch is a recipe for 6 years without a trophy and counting.

Brother Chiti,

When I was growing up we played a simple game that was to pay great dividend when I played semi-pro football before basketball took me away from the game of soccer. This game I hear in English is called 'pig in the middle' or in our own mot 'nchusha'..basically you form a circle and one of you goes in the middle..you then have to chase the ball as its passed around from player to player who ever you dispose joins you in the circle. Remember the players in the circle are only allowed'one touch' two touches means join the pigs.

I was not the quickest of players so to compensate for that I developed and mastered the art of positioning myself to be able to lay off the pass in the direction of my choice even with an onrushing player determined to disposes me...similiarly we played a game where we knocked the ball around but if you got caught or were nutmegged(pomo or between your legs) you then had to sprint goal words to touch the goal to win your immunity failure to do this attracted a thumping from te others...in this way we developed radar like instincts of keep ball and not to be ruffled by on rushing players.

Manu plaers appear not to have played these games....yesterday they allowed themselves to be disected the midfield was cut off from the frontline and backline and no one amongst them thought to thing of pig in the ring, and Barca deserved to win....finito...hands up we were thumped and put in our place..

My dearest man, Ali.

Sorry that I did not get in touch earlier due to some commitments I had.

I can only say that it is worth considering switching to “movement, pace and technique” type of football. It can help you beat Barca in London, as we Gunners did. It is definitely a far better system than the limp, terrified display that we saw on Saturday night.

It will help your manager make the necessary structural changes, more so in midfield.

By the way, is Fergie alkie?  He looked like he was shivering due to sipping more than the authorized quantity of Chivas

Brother Ali,

Nice of you to take us down memory lane.

I cannot recall an event where the overwhelming majority of the patronage at a pub had such sadistic joy as when David Villa finally put the icing on the cake.

I told Katongo Lumbwe, amongst other Man U die hards, that although it was half time, his team were on life support. He said, “kwisa, tuli nshimbi!”.

When people talk of disappearing into thin air, now I can vouch over the brother. He melted when the Messi-ah put the knife in with the second goal. At this point, Guardiola lifted the hand brake, and it was all one way traffic. The Man U faithful all trooped out in a similar way to what happens when the spillway gates are opened at a dam.

Nice to hear from you, but I must say Man U is despised. I actually felt sorry for some of your supporters as the truth sunk in…that you were matched against the masters of the football universe, and were hopelessly inferior.

Chiti

Brother Chiti,

Its one thing to despise us but another to understand that we watched a wonderful game of football, admittedly Fergie got carried away when Rooney equalised and failed to see that the midfield was leaking he should have thrown caution to the wind and brought on the running legs of Fabio, Fletcher and Anderton..am not saying we would then have won but rather it would have been interesting to see how Braca responded to the trio....I look foward to the coming season and I hope beyond hope we begin to prepare as if we are facing Barca and not wait so late in the season to beat Chelsea.....

It was a long night but hands down they deserved to win.
