Hello Student Government,
As you are aware, the Election Commission is the independent agency of Student Government charged with the responsibility of planning and organizing all aspects of Student Government elections.
The Election Commission consists of the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, and up to twenty members-at-large referred to individually as "Election Commissioner". Election Commissioners are directly responsible for a wide variety of important tasks, ranging from operation and maintenance of polling stations to planning and organizing Election Commission social events such as Meet the Candidates and the Ticket Debate. Election Commissioners work directly with the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson to ensure that Student Government elections are free, fair, and open to all undergraduate students at the University of Miami. It's not without mention that the position of Election Commissioner is an office within Student Government!
Currently, there are multiple positions available on the Election Commission!
