I've shared an item with you.
Hey UMSI Path Group (which sounds so professional!)---here's a draft of the text for the site. Feel free to revise it.

Ying, in some instances I wasn't sure how much or how little text you wanted. Please note where this is the case and I can make changes.

UMSI-Discovery

I. Welcome aboard

UMSI/Discover is your entry point to success as an information professional.

There are, in fact, many entry points---that’s the great part about discovery.

Begin by browsing skills or careers to find the course plan best suited to your goals.

Or have a look at our UMSI alumni’s career paths.

Choice is yours to discover.

Get started!

UMSI Path Group, masters students from the University of Michigan’s School of Information, curate UMSI/Discover.

A bit about us...UMSI/Discover is a joint project between UMSI Path Group, UMSI Career Development Office, and a learning analytics fellowship from UM’s Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CLRT).

[a]Kimberly Springer:

I think the Star Wars language should be retained. I'll need help, though, to use it throughout the site.

[b]Kimberly Springer:

I like this language, just with spelling out "them."

[c]Kimberly Springer:

We might have to revert to the "List of..." language on this page and all the others

welcome aboard is fantastic!!!
just wondering if it should be 'the choice is yours to discover' or 'choices are yours to make' or perhaps a good yoga type line: "Yours to discover, choice is.  Yeesssssss." (I'll have to re-watch star wars.. speaking of, I do have the original trilogy on blu-ray for whoever is down for a viewing party)

Hmmmmmm. Interest you, we think these courses will.

Ha, love it. Thanks for putting this together Kimberly! I'll drop stuff in as I go, and making text edits is easy. I'll let y'all handle that bit (channeling my inner Edgar).
