Hello Rachel,

I'm going to be representing the UMSI Discover (course pathways / navigator system) group with a poster on April 11.  I'll be there to answer questions and will have a laptop handy so others can explore our demo system.

Best,
Edgar

Dear 2013 Learning Analytics Fellows:

The April 11 SLAM will be dedicated to spotlighting Learning Analytics Fellows projects from this year and last.

By Monday, February 10, would one member of each team please email Mary Wright (mcwr...@umich.edu) about your team's preference for presenting your project in one of the following formats:

  1. A five-minute "lightning presentation": You would have three slides and five minutes to present your project.

  2. A poster: You would highlight your project with a 3x4 poster, which you would design and print. There will be no formal presentation involved, but at least one member of your team would be there to answer questions.

  3. A handout: Your team would create a visually appealing handout and bring copies to inform the U-M community about your project. Again, no formal presentation is involved, but at least one member of your team would discuss highlights with those who are interested and answer questions.

Please also let Mary know if your team will not be able to do any of these on April 11, or if you would prefer a longer presentation time (e.g., 20-50 minutes) at a future SLAM date.  (If you already presented at SLAM, thank you, and of course this additional April 11 presentation would be optional for you.)

Please let Mary or me know if you have questions. We look forward to hearing about your preferences by Feb. 10 and to seeing presentations of your good work on April 11!

Best,

Rachel
