Rare Summertime Opportunity

Hi Everyone

I know most of you are mind and body far removed from the university during the summer, but we have a mini-crisis that you could help alleviate. There are 50 boxes of hard cover books from university libraries sitting in the room adjacent to ours, and the libraries have been hounding us to get rid of them as quickly as we can. It's not a difficult operation, the hard covers need to be ripped off, that's it. Place all the remains in a paper bin when you're done. If you happen to find a book in the pile that you want to keep, you have our blessing. I should warn you that it's mostly senate documents and other reference journals, but there may be gems hiding in there. Let us know by email or phone if you need direction, or just stop by if you're in the neighbourhood.

 

There are also opportunities for volunteering in the bike dungeon if you know how to fix bikes.  As well, you can always come and help sort, especially in September when regular session begins.  We will also be hiring a few positions this fall, so if you are interested in working at UMREG, email a resume to this address or stop by and drop one off.
