EAW planning so far
A Coffee Cup Structure Design team was struck. Keeners present included Sean, "Dana," Jane, Francine, Anders, and maybe Geoff. This list is not necessarily complete nor binding.

There will be a night of creativity in the week leading up to EAW.
Tuesday, January 24th after the UMREG meeting (assuming there is a meeting) is the day, and there will be pizza for all involved. Creative efforts will be directed towards Coffee cup structure planning and pre-building, Banner and poster making, and float preparations for the parade.

UMREG table during EAW: Table prep will be added to Creative Night. Keeners include Holly, Kerri, Colin, maybe Sean, maybe Pat, and Maire. This list is not necessarily complete. It was agreed that our table should be rad this year, with, like, Fair Trade coffee and stuff.

Parade: UMSU and the Womyn's Center would both like spots in the parade lineup. Other groups to contact include Music students, Praxis,
Disability Services, EWB, Faculties?

Critical to planning are: Parade Permit from UMSU/physical plant?, route planning, and deciding on day/time. The parade Marshall will be Holly Poklitar. Time for parade was suggested as either Monday or Friday of EAW, starting at 1:15 to coincide with the 1:30 class change. Parade assembly will begin at 12:30 or 12:45, location to be decided. Contact your local musician, or show off your musical
talents because we want a noisy parade. Pat will buy crafting materials for float making on the creative night. Interested groups must make
their own floats, maximum width should be the same as our recycling bins; the route will be explored for more accurate measurements. We want to find a suitable globe for the Planet Funeral, Perhaps a float in the parade, any ideas?

*AP for All: we will Brainstorm for the Parade at Tuesday's meeting, give it some thought.

*AP for Pat: Draft poster and Handbill for next week's meeting

Trash Pile: We need permission, space, and logistical planning.

Movies: We may be able to use the sets in university center for broadcast, though audio may be a problem. "Dana" is the contact for everything involving movies. Want to show: The future of Food, Oil on Ice, Walmart: the high cost of low price, and Seeds of Change.

Comment Posters: What do we want people to comment on? Who will take on this project? Expect to add this to creative night, and discuss at upcoming meetings.

Tanya has volunteered to be our media contact for EAW

Canning and Jamming workshop: we need a polish/ukrainian elder, or professional canning instructor if we are to have a canning workshop.

Peek-a-Boo: members seem keen to play peek-a-boo with unsuspecting recyclers, giving away coupons for "free" fair trade coffee as prizes.

*AP for all: Check the EAW schedule board as events have been tentatively assigned times/days
