Hi Kevin,
It is possible to import XMI files, although you may find you need to work
on the importer. Search through the issues and former student logs for the
work that has been done. This work was not mature enough to make it into
the user manual yet.
As I remember, you should be able to say
use abc.xmi;
And it will run it through a translater; at least that was the intent.
It ought to be possible to just specify an xmi file on the command line in
the same way you would specify an Umple file, but I think this might not
have been done.
One thing to bear in mind is that XMI is not a single format. There are
multiple different implementations each with subtle variations.
So, in short, explore and fix as needed.
