Dear Kevin --
Upon reflection of the last four seasons, I find
hope in how we have stood together to fight for climate justice and
for each other. In the darkness of this winter season, let us gather
together to celebrate the steps we have taken to mobilize our friends,
family, neighbors and local communities to hold elected and corporate
leaders accountable to meaningful action on climate. Will
you join us for a celebratory and heartfelt evening at the MN350
Winter Community Gathering?
As a new volunteer, I am so excited to be a
part of MN350 and to meet more and more people getting active in the
growing, local climate movement. The Winter Community Gathering is a
time to gather with fellow community members and MN350 supporters for
an evening of storytelling, live music by Doug Rhode and delicious
food from Gandhi Mahal.
We will also pay tribute to Patty
O’Keefe, MN350’s second staff person, as she
transitions to a new position with the Sierra Club. Join
us to celebrate Patty’s efforts and new adventure that lies
ahead.
I
believe in the power of community. By gathering and standing together
on the longest and darkest night, we can reflect, release, and place
intentions for the coming year and the soon-to-be growing
light.
Please bring your friends and
family to join together in an evening of celebration, storytelling and
nourishment for body and soul!
