Real Food Challenge is a national network and organization uniting students to create a more just and sustainable food system. Our current campaign is to shift 1 billion dollars, or 20 percent,of university food budgets towards Real Food--food that truly nourishes producers, consumers, and communities--by the year 2020. At the U, we did an audit of 7th Dining Hall and found that only 7 percent of food fits our criteria for justice and sustainability.
