I recently purchased a new software email program called "The
Bat!", which was recommended by a computer journo who writes
for The Age in Melbourne.
I installed & configured it ok, everythings working perfectly,
I'm sending & receiving email ok.
I attempted to transfer all of my old Outlook Express email,
& I don't know what I did wrong, but only a certain number
of them transferred successfully.
I'm a bit of a hoarder of emails, some go back to the late
1990's (I'm talking in the '000s here).
Currently The Bat tallies my email at 6156 (including a few
duplications arising from my several attempts to export from
OE).
Early on while setting up The Bat I transferred all my OE emails
from the OE program folder to a separate folder on my C: drive.

Is there a limit to how many email Outlook Express stores,
& is there some way of retreiving them into my new email software?

Email Query.

Microsoft Outlook Vs
Outlook Express

Can anyone please tell me which email account (above) I should utilise and
pros and cons.
I find that my old MO acct. has more features such as, being able to
"retrieve emails" etc. Maybe I am not using OE to full advantage.

I have both on the go. The default being OE.
As I have just changed from 'dial up' (using MO) to
OE now on Bigpond cable, which is much faster and has other benefits.

Any advice on these two email accts would be great.
(currently I am trying to retrieve an email I sent using OE and I can not
through the help menu work out how to do)

Thanks in anticipation
