Netline Communications Technologies Ltd. (NCT) announced today winning a
bid to provide cellular jamming devices, "C-Guards", to the Israeli Defense
Force (IDF). "The units are designed for full-time around-the-clock
operation in certain military installations, to block out the use of
cellular phones on both incoming, and outgoing calls" - says Gil Israeli,
NCT CEO. Israeli adds: "The large purchase is also noteworthy as a change in
priorities in military policy which we are seeing globally, simply put, more
defense and security forces around the world are worried about information
leakage through cellular phones."
These second-generation C-Guards boast new features such as increased
effective range, remote controls, sensor activation, ruggedized carrying
cases, as well as battery packs, and adaptors for portable usage.
